Michael
J. Bobbitt (Director & Producing Artistic
Director) has choreographed and performed at many
theatres in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area,
including Arena Stage, The Shakespeare Theatre Company,
Signature Theatre, Metro Stage, Rorshach Theatre
Company, Studio Theatre, Woolly Mammoth Theatre
Company, Center Stage, Roundhouse Theatre, The Music
Center at Strathmore, The Kennedy Center, The Helen
Hayes Awards and the Washington National Opera.
His National and International credits include the
NY Musical Theatre Festival, Mel Tillis 2001, and
1996 Olympics. He has taught theatre and dance at
George Washington University, Catholic University,
Montgomery College, Howard University, and the Washington
Ballet. |

Kathryn Hnatio (Director, Education and
Outreach Director, Summer Musical Theatre Workshop
Artistic Director). Kathryn brings with her a
career in music, performance and directing combined
with her extensive work as a theater teacher to
Adventure Theatre’s Education Program. Having
earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Theater from
Frostburg State University and a Masters of Arts
in Educational Theater from New York University
, Kathryn has established a strong reputation
as an educator and developed and implemented educational
curricula for such reputable programs as The Ensemble
School, The Free Shakespeare Project and California
University of PA’s CalRep Summer Program,
among others.

Selena
Anguiano (Summer Program Coordinator) Ms.
Anguiano brings to the program previous experience
as Performing Arts Director for Camp Friendship
International in Palmyra, VA, an educator, stage
manager and actor at Dallas Children's Theatre and
a Production Stage Manager for TYA/Performance Plus/Education
Department at The John F. Kennedy Center in Washington,
DC for Debbie Allens' Dancing in the Wings. Selena
received her Bachelor of Arts in Drama from the
University of Dallas (Irving, Texas, Class of '99)
and her MA-Cultural Policy and Arts Management (London,
England, Class of '08). |

Debbi
Arseneaux (Director)is a professional director,
stage manager, and theatre educator in the DC metro
area. As a teaching artist, she has engaged children
of all ages at Imagination Stage, Round House Theatre,
Interact Story Theatre, Discovery Theatre, Kipp
DC/Key Academy, Ivymount School, the Duke Ellington
School of the Arts, and with Imagination Quest.
At Adventure Theatre, she has directed for the mainstage
(Mother Goose on the Loose, The Emperor's Nightingale)
as well as for student workshops and ensembles (Walking
the Winds, The Jungle Book, Spring Musical Theatre
Workshop 2009). Internationally, she taught English
to Spanish children and adults through drama based
activities. Debbi truly believes in the transformative
power of theatre for young people and strives to
create many opportunities to nurture this essential
part of their world. |

Kurt
Boehm: (Director) Kurt is currently Associate
Director of Kids in Dramatic Study, Choreographer
for Centennial High School, and an instructor for
Creative Artists Institute. Recently, he choreographed
the Helen Hayes Nominated Musical RENT at Keegan
Theatre and is currently working on Dancing at Lughnasa.
This summer he will be working on Man of No Importance
for Keegan as well as Grease and Aida for K.I.D.S.
Previous Director/Choreography credits include:
Footloose, Urinetown, Damn Yankees, Honk! JR, and
Millie. As an actor, Kurt has worked at The Kennedy
Center, Signature Theatre, Arena Stage, Ford's Theatre,
TFA, Adventure Theatre, and Toby's Dinner Theatre.
Kurt holds a Bachelor of Music from The Catholic
University of America. |

Evan
Casey (Director) as nearly a decade of
dedicated experience as a dramatic teaching artist
and stage Director for children and has worked with
such reputable institutions as Round House Theatre,
Shakespeare in Schools, Catholic University and
Friends School Day Camp. As an actor, Evan has worked
on film and stage, both regionally, and in New York.
He can next be seen at the Ford Theatre in their
upcoming production of The Little Shop of Horrors. |

Debbie
Grossman (Music Director), has been working
in musical theatre for over 20 years. She studied
voice and piano at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music.
Debbie has been music directing for summer camps
since 1995. During the school year, she teaches
musical theater classes for K-8th graders, and group
and private voice classes for teens. She also works
in professional opera and musical theater as a director,
stage manager, and piano accompanist. |

Cyana
Cook (Choreographer) is a dancer, choreographer
and director who has performed all across the States,
but is a proud native to Washington, DC. She has
danced for a wide variety of events, including Rockers
on Broadway (directed by Donnie Kehr), Teen Vogue’s
“Rock Meets the Runway” fashion show,
A Night to Remember with The Boss, Little Steven
and The Rascals, SXSW, VH1, BET, and various commercials
and music videos. This fall, Ms. Cook (after becoming
Mrs. Paolantonio) can be seen playing the lovable
scamp Trixie in The National Tour of Mo Willems’
Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Tale. A proud member
of Actors Equity. |

Joshua
Morgan (Director/Musical Director) As an
actor, Joshua graduated from the University of North
Carolina School of the Arts and studied at the American
Academy of Dramatic Arts and Judith Blazer’s
2005/2007 company of the Artist’s Crossing.
Joshua has worked as a Musical Director/Rehearsal
Pianist for many shows within the NY/NJ tri-state
area and coaches a handful of select students. Most
recently he toured the Eastern seaboard in two children’s
musicals, one of which he wrote. |

Mallory
Shear (Director) graduated from Bucknell
University with a double major in Psychology and
Anthropology and double minors in Theatre and Creative
Writing. She then completed an apprenticeship with
The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey and a National
Tour with Missoula Children’s Theatre. Favorite
acting credits include: Snow White (Potomac Theatre
Company), Music Hall (British Players), Mother Goose
(British Players), The Winter’s Tale, The
Rivals (Shakespeare Theatre of NJ), A Midsummer
Night’s Dream (Gaspipe Theatre Company), Come
and Go (Studio Theatre). She currently works as
a teaching artist for InterAct Story Theatre and
Adventure Theatre while pursuing a masters in Theatre
Education at Catholic University. |

Andrew
Sonntag (Director) is very happy to return
to Adventure Theatre for the summer! Some recent
area credits include Call of the Wild at Olney Theatre
Center, The Neverending Story at Imagination Stage,
Glory Days at Signature Theatre, The Stephen Schwartz
Project at MetroStage, The Secret Garden at Adventure
Theatre, and Reefer Madness at The Studio Theatre,
for which he received a Helen Hayes Award nomination
for Outstanding Lead Actor. He graduated from the
Catholic University of America with a B.A. in Drama,
and received additional training from The American
Theatre Wing's Springboard NYC program. |

Jessica
Wilson (Director) holds an MFA in Acting
from the University of Houston and now seeks to
focus her educational endeavors to encourage the
growth of our kids and their creative exploration
of this world. Previous dramatic arts teaching credits
include Olney Theatre and The Warehouse Theatre
among others. Jessica is also an established professional
actress, director and has additional vocal and movement
training that she brings to Adventure Theatre’s
Summer Musical Theatre Workshop 2010. |

Taylor
Williams (Music Director) is a native San
Diegan who has been playing the piano since four
years old. He studied music theatre at American
University and has recently worked in children's
musical theatre with MTC, Act Two Performing Arts,
Paul VI Catholic High School, Georgetown Preparatory
School, and Adventure Theatre's Outreach production
of Fee, Fi, Fo, Fum at Somerset Elementary School. |
